Google Reader and ...

... also Google Friends Connect (Following) are being made obsolete from July.  I use Reader daily to keep up with the blogs I follow.  I've been looking for an alternative and have discovered, through Krista of Saturated Canary, what I think will be a viable alternative .... Bloglovin :)

If you want to find out more about it take a look here.  It seems they're gearing up to take Google Reader users so all power to them.  I've posted a button on my sidebar to take over from the Google Followers bit so, if any of you on there want to continue to follow me, for what it's worth, then why not give Bloglovin a try?

Hi Pam, I left you a comment about scanning old photos..here it is:)
I just scan them and save them as JPEGs if you have mega space on your computer you can scan them as TIFFS. There isn't anything technical about it, but in our area many people don't know how to use a scanner..and it is a way for some people to bring their old photos into the museum to get them scanned and therefore share with us! :)

Spam is the pits, luckily I don't get much. I think I closed down comments on older blogs..not sure I will have to check:)
